Progress can feel slow, but studies like this bring both awareness and hope for change. And while institutions work to evolve, there are already powerful resources available for those navigating this journey:

Evolution of T cells in the cancer-resistant naked mole-rat - Nature Communications Naked mole-rats are long-lived rodents with remarkable resistance to cancer. Here authors show that their T-cell compartment is different from that of mice in that they have a large population of circ...

It’s interesting too that naked mole rats lack NK cells but the majority of T cells in circulation are gamma delta T cells. This could contribute to their cancer resistance as gdTcell are within the first line of defense, perhaps thanks to an active long-lived thymus www.nature.com/articles/s41...
