Now, I judge horror movies based on whether or not I had fun watching them. Which leads to a really mixed bag of movies I say I enjoy.

For years, I judged horror movies based on whether or not they scared me. I can count the ones that genuinely scared me on one hand, so I didn’t like most of them. I love horror, but I was getting nothing out of it. I had to change the way I viewed them.

First time watching this movie and I loved it so much. It’s really fun and all those horror legends on screen together? Incredible.

Had fun, now I need to sleep for three days.

It worked out in the end. Going to a haunted house tonight and bringing treats for my friends.

You know…Every time I bake, I double the frosting recipe. And admittedly, I’m too lazy to make two batches, so I throw in four cups of powdered sugar and EVERY TIME, it ends in disaster. I don’t know why I thought it would be different with the Kitchenaid. 🙃

Jeff Goldblum is consistent, I’ll give him that.

This was the last time I saw my Kitchenaid mixer. When I bought it. Almost a year ago. Finally going to use it today (and probably realize it wasn’t worth it).

Akira Yamaoka is playing in New York on March 3rd…And I already have that day off. Kind of feel like it’s a sign. But also hate standing room only after seeing Brand New and everyone getting knocked over. 😑

It’s been a great month for In the Mouth of Madness fans. A novelization AND a 4K release.

Getting my dry ingredients together now (it helps so much the day of baking) and watching WNUF Halloween Special.

There’s 10 days until Halloween and I still have an entire list of movies I need to watch. And I have to bake cupcakes and make truffles. There’s. No. Time.

Annoyed at myself for taking the entire week off EXCEPT today because it’s my night and I didn’t feel like finding someone to cover it.

But I also love this one. Maybe I’ll use both.

I LOVE this.

And then I took Saga for a walk in the stroller. To work. On my day off.

Went pumpkin picking (it was a very sad farm), met some new friends.

Getting ready to go pumpkin picking. Kind of want to watch something while I do my makeup. Think this VHS is any good? Should I watch it? 🤔

This was fun and nostalgic (everything looked like it came out of the 80’s/90’s, but they mentioned UberEats?) with a really dark ending that I was not expecting.

Even as it was happening, I didn’t know. I saw that man’s nails and I was like…Were they always like that? Until they showed his face, I was questioning what I was seeing.

After YEARS of everyone I’ve ever met telling me “No, do not buy Skyrim, you will hate it, it’s not your kind of game,” someone finally told me to try it.

The Wailing is INCREDIBLE. I could not stop thinking about the ending for days after watching it.
