People shitting on Invincible for it's poor animation and now switched to praising the latest episode. To get these episodes out on time for their contracts they need to cut costs in other episodes. Also judging from the recent reveal of a character, the animation is going to get DRASTICALLY better

Thinking about friends I had during University. Missing that group, one of them especially. Wish I could just message them and have it all go back to how it used to be. I hope they somehow stumble upon this and know that I'm sorry for how things went.

I miss having friends to play games with or sit in calls with. I seem to always separate myself when I really need them and then just drift apart. It's so hard to find that connection with people anymore when there isn't a common social setting like school or university facilitating that.

Another thing about items in RPGs/AAA Games right now, stop giving me so many drops that do literally nothing. If your game has classes and specs I don't want to see anything that I can't use. It does not excite me to try out the weapon I just got dropped, it makes me sad I can't use it right away

If your RPG game has you constantly changing your equipped gear for minor stat increases and has no effect on your look or move set/abilities... That's poor game design

Tried to beat this before New Years but only managed to beat it last night. No interest in SCP like story's but love Remedy's story telling and themes, I loved this game.

Ashtray maze was perfect, never had a song change/improve the way I play the game beside Metal Gear Rising. Onto Alan Wake II

For Marvel Rivals: A form of dynamic queue for Roles, maybe "off tank/extra DPS/extra support". Hard to pinpoint what sort of comp would work best and when. It's hard to know what is the most "fun" when the game is so popular. But limiting the comps to 2-2-2 is not healthy

Man I don't know what it is, but retro games (PS1 and back) with a CRT Filter and smoothing just looks so good to me for some reason. It just makes all the art POP

Retro games generally have massive flaws that will never be fixed. It's hard to say if they add to the charm. I'll also never forget when my memory card corrupted at the end of Paper Mario thousand year door when I was a kid and it stopped me from ever finishing it.

I used to not understand why people gravitated to the same comfort games and shows all the time but realised that sometimes it's the only way a person can calm their thoughts and just tune out for a bit to rest. I've started doing it myself.

Thank you for sharing that, I'm glad to see these games had a special place with others and especially happy that you got to spend time with your Mum when she needed it most.

We played it together for hours on end. I've never spent more time with my brother than I did then and it helped us grow closer and I have extremely fond memories of this game that are inseparable with my memories of our time together. (2/2)

During the end of high school my brother came to stay with us because of some health troubles. He bought this game brand new and let me have the first go at it because he was too sick to enjoy it. (1/2)

I think it comes down to making the games so realistic looking that it can obstruct your perception of things that you can and can't interact with. Also, we've had red explosive barrels since forever so what the fuck are these people on about

So true, the amount of controls they can fit on the touchpad alone is why I love the controllers. But when playing on PC with a controller the options are really limited

I've always had an issue with the analog click, I want to swap whatever button is tied to it but something always has to takes its place. I think the only button I can stand it being is the map button

Actually criminal people have not experienced this game and might never be revived. Although with Capcom's recent promise to revive old franchises/games I am hopeful

Stellaris, Total War, Fire Emblem and Satisfactory/Factorio are some games that I have never really looked at too deeply but have intrigued me. I've only really dipped into Fire Emblem with the exception of Awakening

LOVED Resident Evil 2 Remake, never got the chance to play the original when I was younger like I did the first game. Mr. X was terrifying every time

all the achievements in slay the spire is crazy! I haven't played nearly enough because the early game always keeps me addicted enough to try it on all the characters. But never pushed for A20 on everyone just yet. I haven't really pushed through a lot of Metaphor just yet but what I have is amazing

Waifus are obviously a fun discussion for fans, but the issue with them is that while the games try to make characters that are multidimensional it's also a party RPG type game so sometimes they are pushed into a box. Like Ann from P5, she is pushed so far into a box she has no real character (IMO)

Games are designed to be as fun and attention absorbing as possible. I understand how hard it is to tackle those kinds of things. Books have built in stopping points that are never too far away. Games can often strip those away in place of demanding challenge for players (save points and bonfires)

RuneScape and WoW did that for me but I'm too removed from those games now to even understand them. A fresh start with PoE2 seems like the way. It helps the game can be really bitesize and you can just hop in and out pretty easily

I love a spreadsheet game, but it is also the reason I stay away from games such as Factorio and Strategy games like Chivalry Kings. But I do love the gameplay loop enough in PoE to give it a try because it gives me that diablo 2 itch I used to have

I think that's what this game does well and poorly for assassin type characters like Psylocke and Spiderman, the damage isn't crazy high but it's fast so you can pick people off and get out. The only issue is if a healer is even remotely paying attention you need to be real quick to get out
