Just beat Chronos for the first time in Hades 2!! And just in time before whenever the 1.0 update comes out. Man did that feel good. Fantastic experience, can’t wait for the full release, and still have a lot more to explore in this build!

Playing Sly Cooper 1 again has felt like a breath of fresh air. Sometimes you just need a game where you can just turn your brain off and move down an extremely linear path through a story that’s just a bit too ridiculous in just the right ways lol.

This explains why the characters felt so poorly fleshed out. Oh well, at least they’re aware of it and want to improve it. The rest of the game was pretty great, so if the characters and story are given more attention, then I’m excited to see how the sequel turns out!

Finally got my pc back after almost a week of not having it! Now time to try to cram as many demos as I can before next fest ends lol.

Idk, I didn’t have a lot of expectations going in, and I came out satisfied. Even the games that weren’t for me still looked good.

Update: just checked social media, and reactions seem very mixed, which is a bit surprising. The biggest complaint I’m seeing is the lack of first-party stuff, which is fair, but I feel like State of Plays haven’t really been the place for really big first-party stuff for a while.

I haven’t been on social media yet, so idk what the overall reaction to the State of Play was, but I personally thought it was fantastic! One of the better State of Plays we’ve had for sure, and I feel like they’ve been on an upward streak over the last year or two!

Just hit credits on Returnal, and man, what a game lol. Really awesome gunplay, super intriguing story, really neat risk-reward system. Now to go for the true ending!
