Farage dodged parliament, went to the US, slagged off the UK, lied to Congress, grifted for donations and hoped to persuade the US to punish us for the Online Safety Act. And got his arse handed back to him.
You’d think our ‘patriotic’ media would go nuts. But no. Some quiet mumbling. Beyond feeble.

As a head of probation in a largely white, very ‘English’ Midlands town once told me, “the definition of a virgin here is any six year old girl who can run faster than her uncle.” A horrible but telling ‘joke’.

Amazing and alarming. There were twice as many people who voted to remain or didn’t vote (and might be assumed to be neutral or happy with the status quo?). From my side of the Atlantic, and watching with horror as dictators gather to have a fest in China, Trump hasn’t made America great again - in ten months he’s made it practically irrelevant on the world stage. Ineptitude at warp speed.

That’s really sad news. Whenever he was on screen I always felt a role was in good hands. I particularly enjoyed him in Wind River, although of course he was prolific and there will be many other lasting testimonies to his excellence in his craft.
