Our intern Alyssa has been researching the history of our collection of cast iron door knockers, dating from the 1870s which were saved from buildings being demolished in Bath during the 1960s & 70s🚪📖

As scheduled, the museum is now closed until further notice. We will be undertaking some essential maintenance and repairs to the building, reviewing consultation feedback and working on plans for the long term sustainability of the building and collection.
