In Polish, you can use 'wytłumaczyć', a variation of the verb tłumaczyć (to translate), to mean 'to explain', which I personally think conveys so much better what we actually do (ie not just 'converting words')

It's always those opposing genocide that are labeled as 'un-British'. This is simply Far Right discourse. People can be in denial of that as much as they want, the effect is the same: a further descent into authoritarianism.

I do agree that discomfort is an essential part of discourse.

But I don't think human rights is something to have 'discourse' over.

If you believe that Palestinians deserve to be at the receiving end of a genocide, you should be uncomfortable because that is an objectively bad opinion to have.
