Of all the horrendous actions of Trump, somehow this one is hitting me viscerally harder (did not think it was possible.) Maybe because of the symbolism. Taking the literal wrecking ball to our democracy. I can hear the crash.

I agree. I am also really sad. But even more upset when no one officially steps up to control the behavior. There has to be a legal way to throw the disrupting fans out and away from tournaments, and the spectators should help identify them. Once more, we all need to step up and restore civility

As someone who has played golf since she was 7 yr old and had course etiquette drilled into me, I am embarrassed to see how my beloved game has devolved. Calling in police to prevent heckling and bad behavior from the crowd is heart breaking. Another norm trampled, as the world watches us,dismayed

I could not agree more. With words and actions, Trump has created and encouraged an atmosphere of brutality and violence. Violence begets violence. All of us in mental health have warned about this contagion. It is way past time to stop this madness.
