Can’t believe this is 27 years ago. An absolutely horrific murder and one of the events that had a big influence on me as a young gay man. An annual reminder to stay safe and stand up to homophobia, transphobia and any other hatred based on who you are. RIP Mathew

All any spending cut would do is simply reduce the amount we borrow. There would be no money to actually reduce the debt. Surely this is saying we will cut public services but carry on borrowing half of that money to fund tax cuts, which seems crazy! 🤷
