Some tiny part of me wishes she would be more political again given who she’s been surrounded by since dating Travis, but this solidified for me she’s not rocking that boat and gave me an ick.

Obviously she’s a billionaire, unrelatable and has pulled back on being SO forthcoming with personal details in her work. It just feels strange to be listening to upbeat pop at the moment.

And this album really emphasizes the public/private split in her life (at least for me).

One of the things that hit me as I was listening was Taylor is living her happiest, BEST life rn (even though there are some sharp edges in this album) and it felt… more out of touch than usual.

People are dying, Taylor.

It seems a lot of people are quick to have reactions to #TheLifeofaShowgirl but I’m not there yet—still digesting and uncertain.

The building’s exterior is decorated with Romanesque human and animal images, stylized eagles, and is capped with a copper and gold roof. The ornate, two-story main banking lobby is highly decorated with mosaic floors designed by Hildreth Meiere, and historical murals by Griffith Baily Coale and McGill Mackall on historic themes: the Baltimore fire of 1904, and the writing of the National Anthem at the Battle of Batimore during the War of 1812. The poster highlighted the following sentence: these mosaics are currently covered by artificial turf as part of an Under Armour gym.

A sweet little kestrel landed on the corner next to my aunt’s building on Saturday.

I went over yesterday knowing it would probably not be much longer. She stayed long enough to let me say “see you soon” again.

The kestrel came back today, and flew away. I miss and love her so much.
