This year, the ACA Program Team invites proposals reflecting upon the theme: Making Archival Theory Relevant to Daily Practice.

The deadline for general proposals is January 31, 2626. Submissions for student proposals will remain open until February 28, 2026 archivists.ca/page-18932.

New year, new conference! We're excited to share that the conference theme for our upcoming 2026 ACA virtual conference is here! This year we're excited to convene from June 8th-11th for "How Does That Help Me? Making Archival Theory Relevant to Daily Practice".

Ciaran focuses their professional practice on empowering researchers in accessing collections and teaching critical approaches to archival materials. They hold master's degrees in Archival Studies and Library and Information Studies from the University of British Columbia.

Ciaran Purdome (they/them) is the first Digital Archivist at Acadia University, where they have implemented digital preservation and access infrastructure and workflows.
