You say this when the only thing that looks off in this pic is how much of your forehead we can see ;P everything else comes together nicely playing off the symetry of each other and your confident look especially with as you said that great goth mesh dress

I feel like there is probabily enough diverse esperanto content out there to have this occur. Lojiban i would say is probabily more difficult without intermingling. Sounds like a fun project though

To be honest, i personally think a lot of the fixes we could do to ensure trans kids are accepted in sports would also benefit cis kids too because they would end up enabling a lot more fair play and potentially better leagues than we have

What does a camera with qualia see if it does not also have the ability to self examine itself is a thought that went through my head tonight. Say somehow it can still comunicate despite being unable to self reflect. Would we recognize what it described as qualia or describe it as simply perception

honestily with color green is more my official favorite color, I feel like I enjoy a lot of weird colors more visually, they just arent my mentally designated one as weird as that sounds

Not really, im sorry though you feel you have wasted your time. But I respect that is your signal you dont feel you want to keep to conversation up.

Like if you wanted my own commentary there would be much more to talk about like the cross cultural bounds of aspects like this

19.02.2026 03:41 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Not really, it is more that i think we actually should try to think about what each side means when they are discussing these aspects as well as acknowledge how often both sides tend to not truely represent the actual scientific discourse

19.02.2026 03:40 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Gladly too. I hope you do the same for mine and realize that my point is much more about how as scientists we actually embrace a nuace that isnt going to fit into the black and white of any political side because we actually want to understand the subject not just use it as rhetoric

19.02.2026 03:30 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I mean i dont think most people think they have no valid contribution to the discussion. Rather most would simply like them to ensure they understand why other like it especially when it may be releated to different peoples needs

19.02.2026 03:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I mean tbh this perception often more arises from that most people you meet in a discussion about AI are unaware of even more basic elements of it but i agree when it comes to neuroscientists

19.02.2026 03:24 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I think I mainly agree with this when it comes to scientists but i also think this itself comes from a strawman of the discussion between proai versis antiai tbh. Plus my point alligns with what you said here

Further of course cognitive neueoscientists may more often make presumptions about the extent to which we can precisely make meaning to an item beyond a philsophical ground in comparison so that they can focua on what they actually can work with

18.02.2026 23:37 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

In this sense most are annoyed with both sides because noth sides simplify the discussion to be the brain is fully like an ai or not at all like it when many cognitive neurologists want to talk about elements of both

18.02.2026 23:34 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I am gonna be honest having spoken to different neuroscientists on this, their position on it isnt to roll eyes but instead closer to that they are interested in it precisely because of where it may just be a parrot and how that gives us baselines around what can be accomplished alone

@aelkus.bsky.social I think everyone's favorite abusive drunk may have just created room for a rapprochement between liberals and AI.

Hegseth is explicitly punishing Anthropic for not bending the knee to him and Dear Leader (and implicitly, for not paying up).

Hey look, it’s that art stuffs I have.

I’m in extra need of any money folx can throw at me because:
-an asbestos ceiling fell on me
-My landlady used it as an excuse to try to evict us
-She’s holding the rent I paid hostage until I turn over the keys to her

i think this is an area where we can explore not just on the level of bias in the training data buf also how different systems affect the mechanics itself and what that tells us

I was a bit curious how well LLMs handle abjad based languages versus alphabet based languages if given similar training data ammounts so this is some stuff i found
I did find some stuff on arabic and non latin languages individually as well as a language comparison focusing on numbers

I am usually mixed on the comparison to countries example because it usually uses small countries to abuse people understanding of numeracy but this is one of the few times i think it effectively illustrates how bad those emissions actually are consider they are almost 1/4 of us already
