anyway, im trying to make my own luck in other areas (working on research is sort of like this; u are working towards maybe rewards? many many layers of maybe in a row.)

the thing is, it kind of has to be able to, or i have to get really lucky the rest of my life, to just like, be able to keep living and stuff

food and housing and such once my parents die

i have to be able to function more independently to some extent

it’s so hard to believe my life can be independent and normally human again

i’ve almost given up on it entirely at the same time as i’m working towards it sort of

this place has really broken me a lot, even tho i’ve recovered and grown some here too

this sounds amazing

feeling sympathy pain for you that sounds like a nightmare

i hope it at least gets a lot easier quickly? like hopefully after initial recovery the rest is much more bearable

if you're doing a side project and someone else is doing the same, don't let this discourage you
it doesn't hurt to have alternatives, different implementations, who knows if they will go as far as you do, and in any case, you will learn a lot and have something cool to show
