I've made it clear where I stand I read so many letters about right person wrong time, in another lifetime, hoping the universe brings someone back to you. This is not how life works. You have the now to figure these things out. You never know how much time you truly have. People make choices. Some silently, some loudly. If you truly care about someone, let them know where they stand with you. Be clear on why you are making the choice to not have them in your life. Or, if they left you with silence, ask for clarity. Worst case, they dont respond or tell you something your heart already knows. Best case, you get clarity or clear up miscommunication. Be direct. I'm working to make peace with analyzing your choices against the words you've given me. And I know I have to accept that this is your active choice for action against your words even if it was never fully understood in my mind. I hope you'll remember that I'd still love to hear from you no matter how long time has gone on. I just hope you also understand that the way this is and how you left me feeling that the door is still cracked hurts me daily. I'm sorry if we misunderstood eachothers intentions.
