I finally finished silksong after 70 hours and my. god.
Just what a beautiful game in every regard. I have never seen anything this complex and interwoven on such a grand scale in visuals, gameplay and story. I teared up at the true ending because of how much of an amazing experience it was.

It's funny because my mother asked me to only paint the tulips, but I felt compelled to spend so much more time on the environment as well to remember not just the flowers, but all the memories of the place they surrounded.

An oil painting of said tulips after they were plucked and held up in front of my grandma's patio. They're a beautiful, vibrant pink. I kept working on and off on this painting since around June. I'm really proud to have made a piece like this in memorial of my grandpa and all he means to us <3

It's been 2 years since my grandpa suddenly passed away from lung cancer.

This year though, three tulips somehow grew amongst an abandoned area in my grandma's yard.
We'd like to think these flowers are like a message from him, that he's looking out for us.
