The info presented in this 4-day marketing summit is scattered around the internet. That doesn't make the event any less valuable. On the contrary: I'm impressed with the apparent force of will that brought it all together in one place. Almost 32 hrs of demos, workshops, & how-tos! Not too shabby!

Today's seminars have been top-notch, w/a ton of great advice on promotion. Also, some stimulating shoptalk made time fly.

I did learn about a subgenre that I loathe with my whole being, and now I'm dying to write something in that subgenre. It hurts, I want it so bad.

Another interesting thing I picked up on is that people are apparently really, REALLY interested in the writing of this dude named John Ruh.

I've spent the day in a marketing summit, and I've learned two extremely important things we should all keep in mind when trying to sell our work to an audience:

1.) Always be closing.

2.) Coffee is for closers.
