Our experience was an overpriced, mouldy basement flat in the (cheaper) South, where our lives were work, commute, home and rarely having the time or money to do anything fun or enriching.
But yes, for a visitor it's almost peerless.

It is a brilliant city, undeniably a kween amongst cities, but I had to leave it because when you're on a low income, it takes the piss. I only actually started enjoying my life when I left.
