Thank you a lot for your efforts. I think I take my chances and curate the way I curated the last days. A lot of accounts told me they liked it that way. But I will only include accounts who follow me so that I don't appear like a hijacker.

Of course I don't steal stuff. I teach for a living and don't moonlight publishing pics and surely don't present the pics of others as mine. All I wanted was to praise and enliven this place that in my opinion needs more action.

The account I had an unfortunately heated discussion with now writes he "considers his future on Bluesky" since I downloaded two of his pictures to show them - of course with his handle. Sounds a tad naive to me: I am sure someone downloads my photos. There is nothing to prohibit this.

And I got my reward since it was a great joy and I got to know some photographers around here so much better. So much talent. And what says the Good Book? Don't bury your talents!

Thank you. One account said it was copyright infringement (it certainly is not since I state the authors of the photos and do not use them outside Bluesky) and that the likes for the photos in a collection did not go to the photographers but to me. As if this was my motivation, to get likes!

So now I unfollowed all photographers who do not follow me and hope the people who remain are alright with having their works quoted and praised and promoted.

So one account required I remove his photos since I "used" them in my collections. Well, I did not use them, I promoted them, clearly stating they are not mine. He further said that, when I cite a work the likes don't go to the photographer but to me. Seriously, is this kindergarten?

I think I will from now on only present photos by photographers who follow me. One account seriously said my collections here raise questions of copyright infringement. But does not every repost does this if one chooses to be picky? Of course I don't publish anything outside Bluesky.
