Also. Scribes are usually pre-medical students who are looking to get experience. I think it’s a great idea, but personally? I think medical school students should have scribing worked into the curriculum. College students can struggle with jargon, whereas medical students should know it

That being said!!!! I don’t trust that the companies running these note writing softwares have good privacy policies to handle medical data. I don’t trust that the energy they use to power it is ethically sourced. So I’m not going to use them until I can see data that tells me that it’s safe.

Stuff like this has existed for a while - dictation software and dictation companies and scribes have existed for a while. I think those are good softwares/jobs because they streamline notes. However, you still have to sit down and use precious patient time to make the note.
