Peter Dutton joined the Queensland Police Service on 29 Jan 1990 & resigned on 30 Sep 1999, just 4 months before he would have qualified for Long Service Leave (LSL) for 10 years of service.

LSL at 10 years is an entitlement to 3 months leave or the 💰 equivalent on resignation.
