Pure marketing from Aston I assume. Although it probably is a bit more practical having rear doors and more room for medical equipment

They transport 240 tyres around the world to every single event and then throw them out unused at the end of the year. How do they reconcile this against their environmental targets? Having them and never using them is absurd

Has F1 considered developing a special “rain tyre”? They could bring maybe 3 sets to every race for every car so that when it rains the cars can still go out.
Just a thought.

Spa is always affected by rain so why don’t they hold the race in the middle of summer?

For years now if it’s wet enough for full wets they red flag the race. I honestly don’t know why they waste money developing, making, and bringing them to the tracks. For a sport trying to improve its environmental credentials it’s absurd flying 240 tyres to 24 countries only to throw them out
