I stayed in a VRBO apartment in Seattle last week. 2nd story unit with off street parking. I tossed an extension cord down and charged me EV up! 🤣 In Portland they made it legal to run an extension cord to the curb as long as you put a cover over it for safety.

So many Polestars 3 EVs in Portland. This is a low key car town, people don’t tend not to have flashy vehicles. So maybe the stealth vibe of the Polestar 3 is connecting with people? Also spotted 2 Harris Walz signs on our walk this morning around the Laurelhurst neighborhood. What might have been 😔

I’ve never had to charge for more than 30 minutes when road tripping. Usually my car is done charging faster than I can eat lunch and I can drive for 3-4 hours before needing to charge. It works out pretty well.

Same here. We both love driving, my wife has done Skip Barber racing school. And we are just loving the switch to EVs.

Having driven manual performance cars for 25+ years I had no idea how much I would love driving an EV. Driving in one pedal mode feels like engine breaking all the time. That with the constant instant torque, I just love it. Pair that with the great suspension set up of our Polestar & it’s perfect.

Perhaps I’m missing that point because that is not how your post reads, at least not to me. It seems I’m not the only one who read it that way. Something to think about.

EV roadtrip tales: after charging up top 96% percent at the art museum yesterday we used 10% driving around the city. I wanted to be back at 100% for the drive home so when we got back to our 2nd story VRBO we dropped an extension cord down and plugged in. Back to 100% this morning! Easy peasy. ☺️
