It’s Time to Curtail the President's Pardon Power Trump’s mass pardons have turned a constitutional safeguard into a tool of corruption. The case for an amendment.

Trump hasn’t just abused the pardon power—he’s commercialized it: a get-out-of-jail card for the wealthy and well-connected.

I introduced a Constitutional amendment in 2017 to put limits on presidential pardons and stop these abuses, and I’ve reintroduced ever since then. Presidents aren’t kings.

ICE is killing, lying, and covering for itself.

We must abolish ICE—and we need to make sure that no federal officer can ever kill and hide behind a would-be badge, a mask, or a lawless President and DHS Secretary ever again. That's why I introduced the Deadly Force Independent Review Act.

Deleting it means he knew exactly how vile it was. He doesn’t regret it — he regrets getting called out on it.

Racism followed by cowardice.

Disgusting is too light a condemnation. When will he ever exhibit grace and humility?

If you protest ICE, they’ll use lethal force against you.

But if you defraud workers, patients, and taxpayers out of hundreds of millions—and donate to the GOP—Trump will just hand you a pardon. No restitution. No consequences. Victims get nothing.

Trump & the GOP made billionaires and tech oligarchs so rich that they happily fund Trump’s vanity projects—his White House ballroom, his Kennedy Center takeover, even cutting checks for “Melania", the most panned movie of all time.

Meanwhile working families get NOTHING. Corruption in plain sight.

When a federal agency can shoot Americans in the street and the administration’s first instinct is to smear the dead as “domestic terrorists" or an "assassin", it’s beyond reform.

That’s why I’m calling for ICE to be abolished—and why I’ve cosponsored legislation to impeach Kristi Noem.

We worked closely with the Lynching Sites Project of Memphis and the Tennessee Historical Commission to identify the sites and to make sure this history is confronted, not forgotten.

We’ve gone from “the Epstein files/client list are on Pam Bondi’s desk,” to “there is no client list,” to 3 million files dumped overnight. All under Trump.
