Operation Metro Love Thy Neighbor Hello Friends of Operation Metro Love Thy Neighbor! Many of our neighbors in Minneapolis are being targeted based on the color of their skin, their accent, or their country of origin. From a healthcare standpoint, this is leading to very scary outcomes, as patients are terrified to leave home and are foregoing necessary care in an effort to stay safe. For moms and babies, medical professionals scramble to meet these needs and to ensure patient safety. As neighbors and community members, we want to ensure these moms and babies have their needs met in terms of supplies, personal care items, and infant and toddler items. While it's a far cry from a baby shower, we are doing our best to ensure that our neighboring mamas have what they need in times of massive distress. All items purchased on this list will be delivered to me and then immediately sent out into the community for maximum impact. On behalf of all the mama and baby teams, we so appreciate your love and generosity.

Incredible opinion. It holds that the common ICE tactic of jumping out of an unidentified rental vehicle and seizing suspected noncitizens while masked violates the Fourth Amendment because the *manner* of the seizure is incompatible with a free society governed by the rule of law.

Beaverton is the largest city in the Portland metro area to not allocate funds to help our immigrant community in this time of crisis. Around 1 in 5 Beavertonians were born outside the United States.

We need to stop making excuses and start putting our money where our mouth is.

I fear that men are about to do what men do. They are about to characterize any sober thinking about power as non-technical and therefore unserious.

We have seen this pattern over and over again in tech criticism. Women and people of color repeatedly lead on understanding tech changes.

AI is not inevitable. If we had sane people in government that were not in thrall to billionaire tech CEOs, LLMs could be regulated, forced to obey existing copyright laws, and banned from places where their use is inappropriate, such as college classes. This should be a moderate position.

We need your help! ICE has disappeared our friend Frank Gabriel Yzaze Yegres, A#244-122-254. Frank was kidnapped by ICE on his way to work early in January of 2026. He spent 2 months in the NW Detention Center in Tacoma, WA. On February 4th, 2026 the immigration judge ordered him removed. Frank was supposed to be deported to Venezuela on Saturday, February 7th but instead ICE trafficked him to a private holding facility in an unknown location and is refusing to tell us where he is. For the last three days his location has not been showing up in the ICE locator. Additionally, he has not been in contact with anyone. We have no idea where he is, ICE has disappeared him and we need your help demanding that ICE tells us where Frank is. ICE needs to know the people of Washington will hold them accountable for hurting our friends.

I had to be put on disability leave from work in my early 20s because of mono. It started with six weeks leave but my doctor extended it to eight weeks because I still wasn't well. I couldn't even make myself food without having to sit down. It was so scary.
