🫶🏽 I just can’t do the algorithms and the push for content meant to anger people, and that’s all socmed will ever be going forward. everyone was right about retvrning to smaller pockets of the internet and forums that keeps all the bs out 😔 and less screen time overall has given me so much time back

my social media era might be over fr. lurking on forums and doing virtually anything else has felt like a much better use of my time and I feel a lot better. I’ll love my mooties forever tho 🫂

oh yeah there’s still much to be added here, but it’s improved leaps and bounds from when I first heard about this app. it’s properly a solid replacement now and I’m praying all future updates are good and make this place feel even more whole

the good news is that this place feels like how the other did back in the day with most of the useful features that came later already baked in. plus the strength of the moderation and being able to suppress bigots w/o even having to see them first is a godsend
