Seriously if they think Wes Streeting is the answer they have seriously lost the plot. It’s about as insane as the Conservatives selecting Liz Truss as PM. To me he comes across as authentic as honest Bob.

It seems unlikely that Starmer will gain enough popularity to win again, Streeting would be a disastrous replacement to an audience outside of London. Burnham at least looks like a change from what has gone before, and is plain speaking enough to cut through to a % of potential reform voters.

Looks like it’s straight from a tacky sci-fi B-Movie from the 70s

I think California should be thrown in too, just a little sweetener

And Hannan is a complete idiot, so it’s amazing that he’s finally getting it. Maybe it’s just the stuck click being right twice a day.

You’ve got to be bad and deranged to pay 19 Billion for Stollen. I really don’t like the flavour and it’s probably gone off a bit since Christmas.

I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.

@bphillipsonmp.bsky.social
Hi,
Many on this platform, are disturbed that to see any official gov communications, they have to go back onto the #CessPit of X.
Could you please ask the media department to include @bsky.app and the growing Labour presence on here to give us representation and a voice.

This is an absolute disgrace, the approach to Trump has been pathetic so far but this is scraping the bottom of the barrel. It shouldn’t need a second thought of any British politician to condemn this.

Surely this should be described as a kidnapping ? Capture makes it sound like a legitimate operation.

Considering there’s less than 200 miles difference between Copenhagen and Nuuk and Washington DC and Nuuk, the backyard argument is a joke. It should be for the people of Greenland to determine their futures and not these 21st century empire builders.

Not too different here in the UK

After the economic and other impacta has had on the UK I doubt many would look the short distance to us in Britain and say yep let’s leave the eu and go it alone.

If you want to run a company within another country or block, then you need to comply with their regulations. If the regulations are incompatible with the way you want to run your business, then exit from those markets.

Yep, I’ve just popped down to Aldi, where a number of different nationalities were peacefully getting on with their day, doing the shopping with their families. No breakdown in law and order. Perhaps he should concentrate on his own country and perhaps we should block felons from the US coming here

WTF, The heads of FIFA should be removed from their positions. Political neutrality is now an absolute joke.

Also the European manufacturers claim that they aren’t profitable if they incorporate all the safety aids of larger/more expensive cars. A number of models have been dropped from the UK and Europe

05.12.2025 17:26 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Small European cars have grown quite a bit over the past 20 years, however a lot of people don’t like driving them around larger SUVs and our SUVs are tiny compared to US SUVs and trucks, so the take up would be interesting.

He’s probably offering take out, so we can have a beer while standing in the EES queues, watching our EU neighbours walk straight through security.

FFS, Glad they are not in the United Kingdom yet. That sort of thing would go down like a lead ballon here.

I’d put 99.9999% in a charitable trust as soon as possible, and distribute to key global projects to improve the lives of the poorest, and the health of the planet. I wouldn’t want to be corrupted by it.

Obviously the people at the Times have never bought their own office furniture. The bill adds up even if you shop at IKEA.
