Believe it or not, we've been under UN election observation since at least 2002.

I saw a team of UN election observers at the Langley, McLean polling place in 2004.

They paper over it really well in the media, but our elections have been suspect for decades.

But now the other dozen or so things they removed will stay removed, because everyone focused on these two things and caused an uproar.

My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.
