I'm pretty sure the big London museums have quite a lot in their shops but probably not made by local artisans!

In the blanket incident, Noem had to switch planes after a maintenance issue was discovered, but her blanket wasn't moved to the second plane, according to the people familiar with the incident. The Coast Guard pilot was initially fired and told to take a commercial flight home when they reached their destination. They eventually reinstated the pilot because no one else was available to fly them home.

The details of the Kristi Noem blanket incident are just fucking perfect

This year’s lengthy cold snap formed thick enough ice on the Navesink River in New Jersey that two ice boat clubs were able to compete against each other in the Van Nostrand Challenge Cup β€” only the fourth time the race has been held in nearly 140 years. Read more: nyti.ms/4tAJ9Gc

It's definitely a lot easier since they introduced the online system. I'd renew the British one now so you can truthfully say he doesn't have another passport!

Oh and another fun fact - if he has a British passport and it needs renewing at some stage, you will have to send the Irish one with it πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I am so glad mine are no longer needing children's passports. The process is ridiculously complex. Mind you, the older ones had to go for an interview when they applied for British ones!

It's lovely to see the outpouring of love for Catherine O'Hara. Though obviously dreadful that it's because she has left us.

A family I knew growing up had an older sister who caught measles and was brain damaged and died very young. I don't think there was a vaccine when I was a small child. I caught it myself.

If you've heard me cite the Yeats poem, The Second Coming, to describe what Trump is doing then you'll enjoy this little bit of genius as much as I did...

Catching up with last night's traitor on my day off. Stephen's outfit is very reminiscent of Sportacus in Lazytown!

I'd leave mine up till the end of January if other people in the house wouldn't moan about it! On my way home last night I passed a few houses with lights up still and it looked so cheerful in the gloom.

I love this because on my very first trip to London (which I had wanted to do since I was a small child) I also went to Bromley to visit relatives. I didn't hate it but it was very suburban!

I think it was the actor who
played her father I struggled with - more because he spoke so fast. Though tbh that is fairly authentic!

I wondered how non-Irish people would get on with understanding the accents. I found one of the actors in particular quite hard to follow (and I'm Irish). But yes it was very lyrical. Reminds me of Under Milk Wood in that respect.
