Ive been on hold for over 30 min with Eversource trying to understand how I am supposed to notify them about our heat pumps. Would love more information on how this is supposed to be implemented because as it is, there will be no uptake on this given how hard communication is

Good morning with good news: US solar surges 26.3% in May 2025 to 39.9 TWh, up from 30.6 TWh in May 2024. Solar nearly tripled from 13.9 TWh in May 2020.

American households could save an average of $2,240 a year on their energy bills if we keep 2 very important renewable energy tax credits: 25D (think solar and storage) and 25C (think heat pumps and insulation).

Why is this so important?

"In California, solar generation could finally surpass gas this year."

Actually, the probability that solar surpasses gas in 2025 is high!

Gas fell from 50% of CA's electricity in January 2024 to 40% in January 2025, and solar rose from 20% to 28%.
