Not sure why I am telling you this, but if anyone has any ideas on how to square this circle, I'm all ears. I am too scared and financially insecure to jack in the day job, and despite my age, have no realistic chance of retiring soon. But the creative stuff is all that keeps me going at the moment.

It's only when I write this down that I appreciate how much creative stuff I've been involved in this year. All the while, I'm doing a full-time day job that pays well, but I hate it. I'd rather be doing the latter as it fulfills me, but there's no money in it, and you need money to eat, etc.
