Have a wee think about why the right wing press continually attack media studies degrees. It’s pretty clear, isn’t it.

The Guardian view on the nationalist surge: the SNP and Plaid Cymru are making the political weather | Editorial Editorial: In both Scotland and Wales, politics is marching to the beat of different drums from the rest of Britain. The UK-wide parties should watch out

At what point are we all going to stop wanging an about β€˜Britishness’ and accept that the whole concept is way too tarnished by imperialism to have any relevance any more?

Not to mention performing arts! The UK has some of the best talent in the world in film and TV. Not just actors but producers, lighting, ADs, makeup, costume, casting. High-end production companies come from around the world to make stuff here. Performing arts is a *massive industry for Britain*.

Calling English a 'rip-off degree' is one of the most blatant exhibitions of personal barbarism I've ever seen. You've demonstrated nothing but the poverty of your own mind.

Support for Brexit drops to laughable low - with just 11% seeing it as a success Ah well, at least our passports are blue again. Unfortunately, not many Brits are feeling buoyed by our supposed 'Brexit benefits'.

Brexit, a tragic mistake which has been bad for our politics as well as for our economy. Not sure β€˜laughable’ is the right word.

Luka Vuskovic is already adored at Hamburg – the Tottenham loanee seems worth the hype The 18-year-old defender's name has been printed on more than 1,000 shirts and his performances have been increasingly impressive

Tottenham's Luka Vuskovic is already adored in Hamburg. The special circumstances guaranteed that would be the case.

He's also really, really good.
