I have studied the Pharisees very little apart from what the Bible mentions. My point is that maga behaviors are very similar to those of the Pharisees in the Bible.
I had heard that the Pharisees were trying to spread their religion. I don’t believe this, 2000 years later…..nothing.

When I say, modern day Pharisees, what I mean is during the time of Jesus, the Pharisees were creating laws above above and beyond God’s laws. They were proclaiming their own self righteousness. They believe their way was the only right way. I see much of this behavior in MAGA and the Republicans.

Republicans are the modern day Pharisees.
