Exploring the spaces between perspectives. Questioning narratives and uncovering cognitive bias. Progress starts when we read between the lines and apply critical thinking. We need unity, not division.

Is this because the economy can’t grow if populations recede? Meaning…if you’re going to get tough on migration, you need citizens to keep having babies to ensure economic growth? (And so the rich keep getting richer). πŸ€”

Why does the richest man in the world β€˜invest’ in right wing politics of migrant issues? Cos the rich are getting richer, and the rest of us poorer. The only solution is higher taxes for the rich. And they don’t want that. So they support anything that distracts everyone, to mitigate that risk.

I’m not from the US, but I was saying exactly the same thing the other day. They are supposed to represent and serve everyone. Not just those that they have radicalised to gain power. Whether you voted for them or not, they are PUBLIC servants.

I bet it's a smokescreen. The conversation probably went something like Farage:"Our problem is that a lot of Brits associate Reform with Tommy Robinson and the EDL, we need to find a way to disassociate ourselves, but we need a vehicle for that conversation". Musk:"Cool, I'll do it, then apologize".

Having recently watched the Netflix docu-series 'Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War', the final two episodes (8 and 9) are pretty much the playbook for what is happening right now.

And what's the cost to the NHS for the rising mental health problems we're seeing where the increasingly radical, divisive, and inflammatory content being spewed out at us, by those that manipulate our cognitive biases, is resulting in an insidious breakdown of humanity, society, and community? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜ž

Let’s fast forward to January:
BREAKING: President Trump pardons himself.

It was a strategic play by the Trump team. Threaten to come down hard on Biden, they knew what any father would have done. It’s all part of their masterplan.

It was a strategic move from the Trump team. They’re using tactics to enact their plan. They needed Biden to pardon Hunter so it doesn’t seem bad when Trump pardons himself. Unbelievably obvious to anyone that can see the strategic masterplan.

Sadly, I think it was expertly planned. Threaten a tough line and revenge on Biden’s son, any father would be worried about what they might do to him. The pardon is exactly what they wanted, because when Trump pardons himself, they will claim hypocrisy if anyone says anything otherwise.

It’s all too obvious, to some, but sadly not most. Capitalism is fighting back. Palms are being greased. Just look at all the corporations cancelling DEI programmes and lining up to get an audience with the emperor of grifters. Sadly, progress is on pause. It’s disinformation on steroids. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Agree. And very poignant right now.

Watching reviews and listening to the motion picture soundtrack for the latest β€˜Wicked’ film based on the musical. The irony when you’re scrolling news and the line from Defying Gravity blares out β€œhow you would grovel in submission to feed your own ambition”. Capitalism at its worst. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

"Telegraph wins Website of the Year for second year in a row
Judges described the website as an β€˜outstanding product’ that had utilised β€˜excellent design’ to tell the biggest stories of the year".

SHOULD READ: 'utilised negative bias to promote fear and increase clicks', would be more accurate!

The right-wing attacks on Jaguar show how our cognitive biases are being weaponized in politics: Patriotism hijacked, β€˜woke’ linked to failure, division sown, nationalism fuelled, real issues distracted, prejudices reinforced, unity eroded, fear of change/status quo bias exploited, progress stifled.

But if they aren’t selling any cars, maybe they did some research and discovered what people actually want isn’t what they did before πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Why are people so afraid of change? Evolution seems inevitable.

I was going to say it’s bizarre how people react, but it’s not really these days. People don’t like change. And as for BudLight, and this β€˜go woke, go broke’ nonsense, he knows that the impact was only 1% on their income that year, right!? So, no Nigel. Not really going broke, is it πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
