Pinning their hopes in 'growth' happening in the chaotic circumstances they're supervising strikes me as naive, at best.

But - their options, as I see it, are ER or trying 'If you don't vote for us, that terrible Nigel Farage will get in, you know' on the electorate. And - frankly - I'd rather they looked at the bigger picture than purely their own interests and tried to do the right thing.
