Tougher rules on political interference to keep UK elections secure Foreign actors will no longer be able to use their money to interfere in the UK’s elections, as part of the biggest expansion of democratic participation in a generation

Labour have released more details about what will be in the Representation of People Bill, which has its First Reading in the Commons today.

I plan to go through the full bill in due course and pick out the key parts.

But reading this will give you a good idea for now!

But who in the Parliamentary Labour Party is apparently still speaking to this creep that he is aware of what was said in a closed meeting .

I've always liked Wes and think he's great in his remit but agree he needs to read the room and calm down now .

I actually didn't vote for him as I went for Jess Phillips then Lisa Nandy but I'm glad he won . The press are trying to crucify Keir Starmer now but they would have absolutely destroyed Jess or Lisa before the election.

Letter to the Times from John Campbell political biographer arguing plotting to remove prime ministers is nothing new. But 24 hour news and social media results in a cacophony of speculation that makes sensible conduct of politics impossible. He argues no prime minister can las long in this media climate.

The BBC are still at it, Starmer bashing...
Lab MP's & especially cabinet ministers need to start calling out this biased onslaught live on air.
If they're worried about antagonising the media, they shouldn't.
The BBC & the rest of the media couldn't be any more anti Starmer/ Labour if they tried.

I had read about this even before yesterday and the fact that exceptions would be made for Doctor's and those that had to maintain a professional qualification.

Labour’s Local Power Plan is the biggest investment in community energy ever with up to Β£1bn for local projects.

It will let communities run their own solar and wind schemes, cut bills, and invest in their neighbourhoods. ⚑️

Government Ministers need to announce these policies in Press Conference's and only take questions on the actual subject. Doing the press round doesn't work ,as the interviewer only interested in the drama.

Here's Ed Miliband defending his Local Power Plan by doing two things:

1) showing us how far the Tories have fallen, highlighting their hypocrisy - they used to support clean energy

2) strongly calling them out for opposing local energy generation within communities - everyone take note on this!

Why are these interviewer's not better informed and can challenge disinformation. I was aware that it wasn't a Manchester firm and they had done work for Reform before .

Keep messaging your MPs - not as a one off, but on a regular basis to show support and thanks for specific things.

Get behind Angeliki Stogia too, in the Goton and Denton by-election!

Show the media it is the people who decide.

This morning I am still seeing people post to say they are joining Labour to support the PM.

The media's attempts to oust our PM have failed.

He is gaining support and comes out of this episode stronger than before.

Keep the momentum going! Keep posting support.

They're Coming for Our Daughters The conservative plan to shrink girls’ futures

The Heritage Foundation has released a 250-year roadmap to β€œsave America.”

The document is a how-to guide for subjugating girls & young women: a detailed plan to push them out of college, funnel them into early marriage and motherhood, and then trap them there.
