Is.. Is painting a bird not just "bird fanart"? We create what inspires us to create. Whether a person that inspires us is fictional or not doesn't change that we create ART of them. I just wouldn't want you to feel like the people you draw is the only thing that gives value to your gorgeous art..

And I'm not saying there isn't worse out there. But DAO definitely goes a lot darker than other popular Fantasy franchises like Elder Scrolls, Warcraft and whatnot.

If you're curious I'm sure I can make you a list of reasons and interactions that made that game feel grimdark.

There's lots of humor in DAO, yes. But it was to counter the messed up shit you had to deal with. Even just the initial ritual to make you a grey warden. Humor is one of the most natural reactions to terror, it's not an opposite and it didn't make the encounters feel any less serious or relevant.

I started out by tracing over sprites actually.. I can't say if it's a good way for learning but it was fun because I got decent results without havibg any experience, yet with editing features like hair and clothing I had to figure out how to place pixels to look like what I had in mind

Got a google doc to collect and categorize creative ideas. It's not there to make sure every idea gets used but to ease my mind that I didn't let it slip into the void. Then when I NEED an idea I can look at it and see if any notes rekindle something.

As an artist my interest is drawing humans and monsters, my strength is drawing furry and I also happen to be able to draw ponies... In case anyone wonders what they're in for

So I've been playing some #Phasmophobia this Halloween update and my friend and I decided to create some dorks to go with it. Meet the crew!

The whole concept of a carbon footprint was pushed by BP, likely to put the responsibility on the consumer instead of corporations. I haven't watched the video (yet) but it's frustrating how little we actually have on our side vs corporations even taking over the "opposition".

I'm just happy to be away from rage bait. I tried to moderate it on twitter which worked to an extent but overall it would ALWAYS feed me controversial posts to farm engagement.. It's tiring to scroll past without at least thinking about the provocative statements.
