Marmite, you either love it or hate it.
I loved it, but I know someone who couldn't get into it at all.

When Chloe Dalton, a political adviser, has to stay at home during Covid, she comes across a dying Leveret. What follows is Raising Hare. #BookSky #Books ππ
It's slow moving, introspective read fully connected with nature. It's almost certainly a 'marmite' book.

New and Old. Early evening.
A couple of comfortable, quirky, funny (absurd), mystery reads.
I really enjoyed these. With a caveat that I like Bob Mortimer's comedic style. He presents a strange world populated with ordinary people dealing with odd turns throughout. Great warm fun.

This time last year - a short walk. Along the Penine Bridleway from Greenfield to Diggle. Then up and along Harrop Edge Lane - with some snow drifts - before dropping back down into Uppermill and back along the canal. #Walking #Landscape On the edge of the #PeakDistrict Don't ask which County!
20.11.2025 17:45 β π 17 π 0 π¬ 0 π 019/11/2024 was also the first snow last year.
Up on Alphin on the edge of the #PeakDistrict before circling back round to Mossley and along the canal to Greenfield.
#Walking Strong wind last year, so windchill temperature felt like minus 10.
Dove Stone Resevoir. Up via Great Dove Stones and Bramley's Cot (a victorian construction - but not known who built it or why). Across to Chew Reservoir and back via Chew road. #Walking #PeakDistrict #Photography #Landscape

It's a very creepy view when you drive past it! Especially as it is so isolated.
