Did I mishear Trump say that they "took out" a ship full of drugs right before the press conference? He said that, right? I feel like I'm going crazy because I haven't heard anyone mention anything about it.

I really try to stay away from conspiratorial thinking but if that's all it is after making such a big deal about a huge announcement I can't help but wonder what this particular red herring is distracting us from.

Why does it make me so happy to know that people actually say "keepy-uppy?" I always thought it was just something made up for Bluey and I was pleasantly surprised when I learned I was wrong. The idea of a full grown adult saying "keely-uppy" just always puts a smile on my face.

Interesting what does and doesn't offend Americans, esp. the religious right. In media sexual content is an absolute no, but extreme violence is ok; Fascism and genocide is fine, but don't swear or say "Jesus Christ" out of context. I just don't get it. Hard to be proud of my country these days.
