Really enjoyed the podcasts Lee. As someone who worked in the NHS in England and in Wales for 36 years there were sadly far too many reminders of my time in the Welsh system. Money is crucial but not the only issue for poorly performing public services.

Just finished reading this rather disappointing novel on the American Civil war (more about a battle if you’re interested) and 3/4 of the way through this appeared and made me smile.
