Can I just say how much I love that Megan Bayne is a terrifying bruiser goliath woman who strikes fear in the hearts of her opponents AND she comes to the ring in a pretty feather headdress and sparkly, flowing cape? Girly and intimidating, beautiful combination.

Can we normalize crediting the background media on screen during video essays? I am so sick of having to go on an internet scavenger hunt every time I see something cool and want to know where it's from. Also, y'know, crediting creators is good.

God they're both just so incredible, aren't they? Matt is, clearly, my aesthetic preference but Nick is so compelling as a character I spend more time thinking about him than probably any other wrestler.

Okay it took me entirely too long, but I think I cracked it.

Like, they look so similar but every time my brain tried to attach "beautiful" to Nick it felt like it was only telling part of the story, y'know? Like "pretty" left out too much.

Saw a really annoying take on Hangman and the Elite and the temptation to write a multi-skeet analysis is so strong.

It annoys me so much seeing the Bucks' shoot names on TV after Nick did that whole bit about the names on their drivers licences/passports at the start of their heel gimmick.

Hello! I was DMing to tell you how much I love your tumblr, it's like the highlight of my dash.

(Now if only playline doll makers would follow suit *cough*MATTEL*cough*)

I have to say, back when I first got interested in BJDs (and couldn't hope to afford one), it was damn near impossible to find male sculpts. I am SO glad that boy dolls seem to have exploded in popularity in time for me to actually be able to buy one.

Also been practicing face-up ideas in CSP. I'm... reasonably confident I can do a basic masculine face? It's so tough 'cause the head Matthias came with is a VERY young and androgynous sculpt, but I think I've worked something out.

Literally ALL I think about these days is either the Young Bucks or Matthias. I spend hours trawling BJD sites for wigs, eyes, and clothes while watching BTE.

So the fact that I can make YB-inspired outfits for Matthias and NO ONE CAN STOP ME has not escaped my notice.

I swear sometimes I think I'll never really understand the world of pro wrestling.
