Now the BC Conservatives are back to being the Rustad-less BC Liberals, albeit with a different name, an even more radical reputation, and a fractured component that branched off because even the more radical BC Conservatives weren’t bigoted enough for them.

What a messed up legacy.

John Rustad left the BC Liberals and formed his own party. His old party disbanded and he brought over MLAs from his old party. He then got kicked out of that party by the MLAs he brought over.

Conservatives in BC have gone through quite a transformation.

People need to learn the difference between “you can’t say” and “you shouldn’t say.”

I wasn’t sure if mint and matcha would be a good mix, but I know chocolate and matcha is good, so I combined an instant matcha latte with a couple scoops of white candy cane hot chocolate mix and the result is spectacular 🙌

Excuse the crafting table mess, I just have to inform you of this delicious new beverage I invented!

I call it the white chocolate candy cane matcha latte, and it is seriously delicious!

I just got a smokin’ deal on live edge cherry. Windsor plywood is almost out, but this entire board was just $15!

I picked some up for myself a few days ago and, after mentioning that to a client, she decided she wanted some too.

The client had their heart set on this vanity and there was only one in stock in the lower mainland. She tried having it delivered and two attempts failed, so she asked if I could pick it up.

I showed up, not expecting it to be pre-built, but fortunately it fit perfectly in the back of my van.

I’d prefer to have a breaker panel, it’s just not a big enough deal for me to want to spend $1000. I’d rather get a track saw and a new mitre saw for that kind of money.

Yes, but a fuse box is still considered safe to use and fuses are significantly less expensive than replacing the panel. I made sure to note it for insurance too. I have one blow maybe once a year, and the panel is by my front door, so very easy to access.

How interesting! For me, I can’t run my microwave and dishwasher at the same time without blowing a fuse.

I was today years old when I discovered that my kitchen outlet and living room outlet on the other side of my apartment are on the same fuse.

Heater running in the living room and kettle running in the kitchen = very hot blown fuse 🤦🏼‍♀️

I guess it’s time to order more fuses

About 0.3-0.5% of women are trans. If you’re not going to allow them to win sports 0.3-0.5% of the time, you don’t care about fairness, you just care about oppressing trans people.

Thinking about colonizing the properties of OneBC MLAs and claiming them as my own. According to them, doing so is something to be celebrated.

Shame on this BC NDP government for going against the democratic will of the people. Shame on them for introducing such horribly thought out legislation and then refusing to rectify the harm it causes, once they were made aware of it.

Despite BC NDP members passing a resolution calling on the government to repeal the Name Change Ban, David Eby and Mike Farnworth say “no.”

Shame on them.

There need to be social consequences for enacting anti-evidence policies that kill kids.

One of Danielle Smith’s staffers just called me over (??) at an event wanting to say hi.

Once I realized who she was, immediately questioned her about trans rights.

Let’s be honest though. Someone who acts like this has no shame or morals. This is what a psychopath looks like.

Please, do better. Even if you refuse to be civil the rest of the year, at least allow us this day to mourn in peace.

In that vein, to see Dallas Brodie whine about a trans flag being flown at the legislature shows such a massive amount of disrespect toward the dead.

Moreover, to take a day of mourning and to weaponize it against us is deeply disturbing behaviour. I’ve had more bullying antics directed my way today than I have faced in a long time.

Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. It’s a time for us to remember gender diverse people around the world who have lost their lives to violence. To take the life of an innocent person is a reprehensible act and such acts cannot be allowed to continue.

If you hate trans people, I feel sorry for whatever sad life you live that has led you to take your frustrations out on others.

If you love dictatorships, I suggest moving somewhere like North Korea.

If you support what Danielle Smith is doing, there are only two reason:

1) You hate trans people

2) You love dictatorships

Take a moment to check in on the wellbeing of your gender diverse friends and family in Alberta, and speak out against this horrendous abuse of power.
