I've finally got around to updating my #3Dprinted rolling stock pack 1, which you can find on my #Cults3D page. They are now upgraded to allow for metal wheels instead of printing plastic ones which will make them run smoother. #modelrailway #3Dprintable

The viaduct is finished!

It will need some further set extensions when I actually film on it but for now I'm happy with it and I'm glad I can start looking into building a layout again!

Today marks 74 years since the first passenger train was run by the fledgling Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society all the way back in 1951!

Today the very same tape used cut by Bill Trinder all those years ago was cut once more - this time by Garry Mumford, Financial Officer of the Railway!

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Reverend Awdry's magnificent books that led to a brilliant TV series, I am pleased to share 27 newly scanned and restored photographs taken of the TV series models by model maker David Payne on the morning series 1 began filming.

Happy Birthday Thomas the Tank Engine!

Today is 80 years since the Reverend W. Awdry’s first Railway Series book.

A keen railway enthusiast, Awdry first visited the Talyllyn Railway in 1952. His experiences as a volunteer inspired the creation of the Skarloey Railway.
