One thing that doing creative work teaches you is that ideas are worth nothing. Anybody can have an idea. In a writers room you have to come up with a hundred ideas a day, and most of those don’t make the page. It’s the work of making something that gives it value. The patina of humanity.

+ drawing horses feels super easy to me

no, my mind horse probably wouldn't be anatomically correct, but feels like i'd get the essence of horse
which i cant say about humans, dogs or cats

i still struggle with getting hyraxes to feel right
and i've drawn at least 3 times as many raxes as horses

still not beating the weird or the horse kid allegations ig

trying to take a break from drawing hyraxes
and sat down trying to think of what to draw instead
and
.. its sad horses again

(i have a sad horse oc that i've not shared.. yet)

but i'm a little concerned and confused
