Midway through a game of pirates the constructable game.

Went back and bought more plastic boats from that yard sale. Spent all evening yesterday putting them together, and all morning battling my dad on the kitchen table. I lost. That's normal though. He's ruthless and I'm chaotic, that usually ends up as me losing. More risks, more fun.

There's something really classic about it's feel, I think of the "modern Mario games that don't want to feel modern" I think it does it the best

Today's Listens, didn't make it all the way through my work shift, but tried to have a low stress day otherwise.
Listened to Bad Bunny with @thecitrinewitch.bsky.social cuddled up sharing a single pair of earbuds like middleschool.

This is absolute top 10 for me, the psp version specifically cuz it's the one I had. I desperately want some indie company to come along and just do more of this because they loved it and they remember it.

I'm adding music to my mp3 player in a very "wait, do I have [this]? I don't! Ah shit, got a wait till I get home and hope I remember to look around for that" sort of way. Which is a surprisingly nice experience and will make the moment tomorrow when I do finally hit play on black parade, exciting.

YASS I'm just now learning foobar and it's so so fun. I love automations I can bork up and then fix.

(2/2) Even organizing my music library as clunkily as I am is nostalgic as hell, and just makes it all the more satisfying when I finally figure out why a song is being put in the wrong folder. Overall, I really recommend trying to recapture an older relationship with music. Even casually.

(1/2) I'm a few days into having replaced Spotify with an mp3 player, and I have to say my enjoyment of music has really improved. Not only am I getting much better quality when I use good headphones, but even with my cheapies for work, the overall experience is just better. More personal.
