No, your original point was “defense counts too” and that “Pedroia doesn’t pass the eye test compared to Utley.” No player had ever been voted unanimously at one point too, does that mean no one ever deserves it? Is that the type of voter you chose to be?

You keep moving the goal posts. You’ve been shown multiple stats that put Pedroia ahead of Utley defensively and then you change the argument. And let’s say all the stats were in Utleys favor, do you really think even then that he’s so much better than Pedroia that Pedroia doesn’t even get a vote?
