The problem with me teaching my husband how to cook:
He needs things to be exact. I do not cook most things according to exact directions… it’s based on my gut.

I had a Fitbit from early 2017 until Jan 2025. I got an Apple Watch against my will (it was a deal with our new phones). I don’t need the bells and whistles of an Apple Watch. I’m officially going back to Fitbit. IMO the UI is better. Battery life is better. It’s more comfortable on my tiny wrist.

I despise April Fool’s Day. It’s an excuse to lie, scare, prank, and hurt people’s feelings in the name of humor. I spend this day every year frustrated, confused, and a little afraid. Genuinely if you fool me, it will severely hurt my feelings and I will hold a grudge for all time.

Florida never really had normal seasons. Now that we live somewhere that has all 4, I think Spring is the one that fascinates me the most. You go from gray, dead trees to suddenly waking up seeing flowers and green foliage popping up everywhere. It’s lovely! 🥰

Cure for my homesickness: call my mom & tell her I used Hellman’s instead of Duke’s, precut carrots instead of whole, box cake mix instead of scratch… just tell her the brands, products, or recipes I’m using. And I’m blessed with a lecture that reminds me why I love her & why I moved far away 😆
