No, KyoAni didn't go beast mode this week, but even an average CITY episode would be a big statement piece in most other shows

CITY the Animation is a top shelf infectiously charming hangout show. A series of moderately wacky tangents and playful character humor grounded with a sense of place and more quiet connective tissue than you might expect, really doesn't feel like there's much else like it.

Original animated movie scores a surprising number of eyeballs and they immediately start talking live-action remake, I hate it

Love how we have this conversation every few months and they come back with "uhhh two Gollum prequel/sequels???"

I basically have no haul worth showing off. A single Blu-ray, an artbook, and a keychain. Nothing really screamed at me and who isn't worried about the future. Lotta of tasty meals though, that's important.
