Tyndale was Chaplain to the family at Little Sodbury Manor. In 1925 the new CofE theological college in Pembroke Rd was named after him - Tyndale Hall. Since 1971 it has been part of Trinity College on Stoke Hill which still owns a table used for Holy Communion by Tyndale in the 16th century.
