Bring on the sunshine! Weaver Park has had an upgrade with new play equipment, additional seating, a picnic table, a tennis table and new planting.
There are also changes afoot outside the park. Parking has been removed from the east side of Ormond Street to improve the setting of the park.
Repair and repointing of Dublinβs old City Wall is now completed. Work undertaken by specialist contractor Oldstone for Dublin City Council included removing extensive invasive plant growth from the wall, repointing large areas of the wall & repairing features like the buttresses & St Audoenβs Gate

Planning permission has been granted to The Iveagh Trust to develop 25 new apartments on a prominent and long vacant site at the junction of Dolphin's Barn and SCR. The development will provide new social housing as well as a large social enterprise/community space at ground floor.
