Random question but why did you define the outcome in such a way that the OR>1 as opposed to religiosity being protective and therefore OR<1 (pardon the shorthand)?

If I weren’t an epidemiologist and didn’t constantly get confused with the other fields, I’d be in the same boat. FWIW: Epi = acting upon; demos = populations; and ology = a subject of study. So, epidemiology is the study of things (diseases) acting upon human populations.

I don't disagree with the idea that the virus can mutate (or, evolve as with prior such outbreaks), but I disagree on their conclusions *from their data*: Mild disease at present. All I'm seeing from your posts, though, is beyond caution - as YLE expresses - but rather fearmongering.

Who is the "we" in your posts and what are your/their areas of expertise aside from pointed conjecture?
